We went to Nusa Lembongan July 2018 and it happened to land on a week were the island has the biggest swell of the year. The fast boats closed for two full days because the waves were too big.

We booked the fast boat through our accommodation – Tigerlilly’s – and they recommended using Rocky’s fast boat transfers. They will pick you up from your accommodation in Seminyak and drive you over to Sanur, they then take you over to the island and drop you at your next accommodation. This was $50 Australian Dollars return and they even dropped you back again at your next accommodation.

In total, we stayed 4 nights on Nusa Lembongan and an extra two nights on Nusa Ceningan. It may be a little too long on the island dependent on what you are looking for from your holiday.

Nusa Lembongan

Nusa Lembongan was beautiful, the first sight of the front beach where the boats came in was amazing turquoise water, white sand, and palm trees.

The streets are small and its more laid back on the island. We spent a lot of time exploring looking for the best beach for swimming and it turns out the front beach at high tide was the best.

Food:

  • Ginger and Jamu – best breaky on the island
