- Bring your own sunscreen, it’s exy here!
- Make sure you’ve organise a driver to pick you up at the airport. There are HEAPS of taxi men that will surround you and ask to take you somewhere.. Its just easier to avoid this however, if you’re up for it you can bargain down your fare price with the locals.
- Tampons are expensive here ladies and few and far between.
- Wine is expensive in Bali, if you love the vino like yours truly pack a few bottles.
- Uber is available in Bali however, Canggu and Ubud have a lockout on Uber taxi’s as they prefer you use a local family taxi instead so Uber isn’t that useful in these areas. You can take an uber and be dropped off in these areas but wont be able to have one pick you up.
- Seminyak Beach isn’t great for swimming and doesn’t look that nice either but its good for a cocktail at sunset and you can rent a daybed on most beaches for around $5 per day. The locals set these up in the mornings.
- Download the app Go Jek, you can have food and drinks delivered for free and order a car or a scooter. Its super helpful. But banned in a few places like Uber is, this is fine though as it supports the local taxi services.
